Crown Elegance Bridal

I drive past the Staten Island Borough Hall almost every day and every time I would say to myself how awesome it would be to photograph a bridal party on those steps.  So last month, with the help of some amazing people, I was able to bring my vision to life!

I was like a kid in a candy store when it came time to select the dresses and the accessories, all so generously provided by Crown Elegance Bridal.  This boutique on New Dorp Lane in Staten Island is so gorgeous inside and the ladies there are so friendly and amazing.  I can not say enough wonderful things about Crown Elegance Bridal!  Sarafina, Jennifer, Kristine and Melissa, thank you so much for all your fabulous help and for sharing my vision for this photo shoot.

Also a huge thank you to Make-Up by Justyna Kszton for a gorgeous job on the make-up.  You really outdid yourself this time!  Assistant photographer, Rima Berzin, thank you so much for all your help, for allowing me to bounce ideas off of you and for reminding me to stay calm and happy!  Last but certainly not least, my stunningly beautiful models!!  THANK YOU!!  I could not have asked for more! Amanda, Rileigh and Melissa you ladies were such a pleasure to work with.

Finally, some images... Enjoy!

AnnaMaria + Alessandro : NYC : Engagement

A few short weeks ago, I had the enormous pleasure of meeting this lovely Italian couple, AnnaMaria and Alessandro.  She grew up mainly in Westchester but fell in love with Alessandro during their yearly visits to Italy with her family.  Originally from the Calabria region, Alessandro has decided to follow his heart and be with his sweetheart AnnaMaria here in the United States.

Not only are they so much fun to be around, but I also got to practice my Italian during this engagement session.  I must admit it is a little rusty, but Alessandro didn't seem to mind too much!

We started out in Grand Central Terminal where I played a little bit with the light that streams thru the high windows.  In a way we were also hiding from the crazy 95 degree humid heat that decided to hit NYC during Memorial Day weekend.

From Grand Central we walked down 42nd Street towards Bryant Park, enjoyed the busy city sights and some great laughs.

And of course, we saved the best for last with Times Square.  Despite it being incredibly crowded, AnnaMaria and Alessandro made it feel like they were the only two people there!

AnnaMaria and Alessandro, I think you two are incredible together and I can't wait for your upcoming wedding!
